Salman's in town for 4 days! So psyched. Going to see him in a few hours and take him to Harvard Square where he can drool at Ivy League-ness for a while. Maybe will catch dinner some place nice too.
Finished reading "Eat, Pray, Love". Quite possibly one of the most uplifting and inspirational books I have ever read, comes a close second to "The Five People You Meet In Heaven" by Mitch Albom. Highly recommended for anyone who has ever felt depressed about anything, or confused about their place in the worl, or wondered how to make life more meaningful.
Speaking of healing, can I just say that I really don't understand people who sit in pain and sickness for days and days and don't go to the doctor. Why put yourself through the torture? Isn't that what doctors are for - to help you get better quickly? If someone picked you up and tossed you in jail, would you wait for two weeks until the gang-rape was totally unbearable before you called your lawyer to get you out of there? People can be so stupid. The desire to be healed should be a moral imperative, not an option. Otherwise you're just being ungrateful for the body that God has blessed you with.
That is all.
