Something stupid...

I was doing our last load of laundry before we leave and I figured I should also wash the jeans I was wearing at the time. So I pulled them off and put them in the washer, and put on another pair of pants.

Only to realize 10mins later that my cellphone had been in the pocket of the jeans, now in the washer. I rushed to retrieve it, but alas - it was too late. I turned it on and for a moment Hello Kitty waved back from the wallpaper and then she flickered into darkness.

*sigh* Do not need this as part of moving headache.

Thankfully, was able to rush to T-Mobile and buy a cheap pre-paid Samsung phone so the contract was not extended and only $50 were spent. Crisis averted, day saved.
