Cultural Consumptions (cont'd)

Forgot to mention in my earlier post!

The Inheritance of Loss, by Kiran Desai: C
An interesting premise and backdrop, but the book moved at a snail's pace, delved into a little too much detail, and ended with a conclusion that leaves you unsatisfied. Hmm, sounds a little like Tolkein only it's totally not :P
I guess all Indian writers that win Booker prizes have to be somewhat ephemeral and vague :P
