You've Got Mail..

WHEW. I just spent an hour and a half at the post office. It was INSANE. The automated postal machine helped me send all the 25 U.S. wedding invites but sending Farhat's package to London (including the cards for folks in the UK) took like 40mins of waiting in line, packing the stuff into the wrong box, then un- and re-packing it and then finally sending it.

Am quite exhausted. And also somewhat annoyed. 25 cards within the US, Canada, Malaysia and Pakistan cost a total of $25. The one box to London cost $20. What's the justice?

Papa called - apparently it is Eid in the Middle East and UK tomorrow - i.e. Saturday. Doubt they'll do the same here otherwise the ones who began the day after us will have fasted for only 28 days. Damn these American people.
